I have the Vigil Cam hooked up in my backyard. Does this cam automatically record continuously as to where when I bring up the cam on my phone can I rewind back to an earlier time? Or do I have to purchase something for it to do that. The Murkury Cam with the Geeni app recorded 24/7 with cloud and an SD card. Also how do you know you have the SD card in correctly?

If you want to record 24/7, you could choose to install an SD card or purchase the Continuous Recording service on the website: https://my.netvue.com/
In App setting> general>SD card, you could check the SD card status.
