Push notifications not showing up on android

This is my second time I had issues with this I have all the plans and all the settings i uninstall the app restart the camera the router and even unplug the camera for a hour to see if it fix it self nothing. NO HUMAN DETECTION

I even updated it to 1634 and yest still nothing

I’ve been having the same problem for the past week. No motion or human notifications, cant turn them on, gives me a error. What a waste of money and no answers!

I have the same issue, notifications stopped overnight a few days ago (12th Oct). Figured I’d give it a few days for them to look into it. I don’t subscribe to an online plan, just record locally on an SD card, although that’s problematic at times but I won’t moan about that now.

Anyway, I’ve just noticed the motion detection for both cameras is turned off so it might be worth checking yours too - I’d focused on the general settings rather than double checking motion detection (as it was turned on). The android app isn’t set to auto update and I’m still running v5.16.2 because I’d heard newer updates have caused problems, so not sure why this setting suddenly decided to turn itself off during the night (presume it’s a firmware update or something - now on 1634). It’s back on now and I’ve just received a notification for both cameras as I walked around the house (and the cat has just set it off too), so fingers crossed it continues to work and you’re able to sort out yours too.

From your description, here is what we think has been happening with your device. You may have set up the “Alert Setting” incorrectly and that’s what led you to not receive any notifications.

In the Setting of your Netvue app, if you go to “General”, then you will see the “Alert Setting”. This is the setting for your Netvue devices to send you the alert.

  1. The first option “Motion Alert”: in order to receive the alert from your Netvue app, you will need to turn this on.
  2. The second option “Motion Alert Filter”: it is a feature for you to decide whether you would want to turn on the alert filter or not. If you do not turn it on at all, you will receive all types of motion alerts. If you turn it on, then please make sure you have also set up the following options with the types of motions that you would like to receive.
  • “Other Motions” refers to all types of motions rather than the following options.
  • “Humans” refers to receiving human-related alerts only. Please note this option will only work properly when you have subscribed to the Human Detection plan.
  • “Pets”, “Animals”, “Vehicles”, “Packages”, “Birds” refer to the new feature which will be launching soon in the near future, similar to the Human Detection plan. You will also need a subscription to receive these types of alerts properly.

Please kindly check on the “Alert Setting” in your Netvue devices and see if the notification starts to work after you set it up following the instruction.

Have “Human Detection” & “Event Video Plus Plan” subscription for both of my vigil cam devices.

And currently still not receiving notifications. The only one option I’m getting notifications for is if I turn on “other motions”

Also with the cool down time since I have the plus plan when trying to change setting it says I need to upgrade!
