Issue with Netvue app

I bought the Netvue Vigil2 from Amazon as I thought it could be used as just plug it in and record onto the SD card. Seems I was wrong, as all I get is a sound dinging and a flashing green light. and no recording at all, on my formatted SD card.

The Netvue app cannot be accessed on either my Samsung Tablet or 10 year old Samsung phone both of which are in perfect working order and I don’t want to spend £200 plus replacing them just to get the app working on a new phone with a more recent Android version and larger memory.

So, I downloaded the app to my PC using Bluestacks and got it up right to the point where it asks for the “QR code to be scanned by the android device” I cannot do this obviously so I click on it but cant get the ender ID Code manually button behind the QR page to work.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this set up so it works just with the power supply and SD card?

I really don’t want to try and borrow a neighbour’s phone to get it set up.
