I love the Birdfy Feeder I received as a gift but having to remove the feeder every 2 days to charge the battery overnight is ridiculous. I am now forced tp purchase the solar panel but Netvue should be embarrassed by the quality of their camera battery and not disclosing such an obvious limitation for an expensive gift.
Not that this removes your frustration entirely but I purchased mine with the solar panel. It’s been operating for a few weeks now and I have never had to charge the battery. So just saying the solar panel does work.
